Starting October 10, Herbert Vallier will take over as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Catholic Healthcare West. That according to a company press release on Friday. Vallier will oversee Human Resources at CHW’s 41 hospitals in Californa, Nevada and Arizona.
Vallier will replace the outgoing Senior Vice President Ernest Urquhart, who announced his retirement in July. Vallier brings with him a long resume, having worked as Executive Vice President for Human Resources at Revlon Inc. and Director of Strategic Staffing at Harvard University, among other positions.
Catholic Healthcare West, which is the 8th-largest hospital system in the United States, employs 55,000 people.
