Olympic Steel Inc. has promoted Richard A. Manson to the newly-formed position of vice president of human resources and administration.
Manson has been with Olympic Steel since 1996. He previously served as the company’s director of taxes and risk management and most recently was treasurer and corporate controller, a position he has held since 2003. Prior to joining Olympic Steel Manson was a tax manager at a public accounting firm.
Olympic Steel is headquartered in Cleveland and was founded in 1954. The company is a leading steel-service center focused on direct sale and distribution of large volumes of processed carbon, coated, aluminum and stainless flat-rolled sheet, coil and plate steel products.
