Luis Lewin will leave Ohio University to become the new vice president of human resources at Purdue University. Lewin will be responsible for more than 18,000 Purdue employees at its various campuses.
Lewin, who had been at Ohio University since 2008, will report to the executive V.P. of business and finance. He will begin March 3 after approval from the Board of Trustees. Prior to arriving at Ohio University, Lewin worked for the Chicago-based Tribune Co., which owns several newspapers.
