Jeffrey J. Hurd was named senior vice president of human resources and communications for AIG. Hurd has previously held several senior positions within AIG, most recently as chief administrative officer.
AIG provides insurance and financial services and operates in more than 130 countries and jurisdictions. It was saved from collapse during the economic meltdown by a $180 billion government bailout.
