jetblueairways_160x120JetBlue Airways has chosen David C. Clark as “Chief People Officer.” How whimsical and charming.

Clark joins from Nike, where he was sensibly titled Vice President Human Resources. He will oversee JetBlue’s ‘People Department,’ including recruitment, benefits, compensation, compliance, diversity and other services for JetBlue’s 12,000 workers.

Clark previously worked for Procter & Gamble in Brand Management and Human Resources.

Founded in 1999, JetBlue Airways is a low-cost airline owned by JetBlue Airways Corporation. The company is headquartered in the Forest Hills, Queens, New York. Its home airport is John F. Kennedy International Airport.
