Retired HR Managers Volunteer to Help Delawareans Find Work

delawareflag_160x1201Georgetown, Delaware’s Bridge to a New Position, a series of employment workshops, allows retired human resources managers and staff help local people find new jobs.

The workshops are designed to equip displaced workers and people seeking employment with the tools necessary to successfully interview, prepare resumes and conduct job searches. They also help people overcome the trauma of job loss.

The program is sponsored by the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, the state’s Division of Economic Development Office, and the Society of Human Resources.

The workshops are free and open to the public, but registration is required.
